In the September edition of Around the Block, we talked about MailChimp, the fun, easy-to-use, and effective e-mail marketing service. (Block Club uses MailChimp to send Around the Block and other e-mails out to our followers.) Not only does the service eliminate the clutter of another print mailings, but they give you the tracking metrics you need to determine if your campaign is working for you or not.
Shortly after you received that e-mail from us we received an e-mail from the vice president of MailChimp, Ben Chestnut. It turns out that MailChimp really liked the way we used this email blast to give you some design and creative tips. They liked it so much they decided to feature us on their blog, and did a great job breaking down the dynamics of a positive e-mail marketing campaign. Naturally, we were pretty excited. They have over 150,000 customers and chose us to feature on their Web site under best practices and design. They were kind enough to point out not just how the graphics are visually appealing, but also the how strong and well-built our custom backend coding is. If you are interested in developing an e-mail marketing campaign for your business, or expanding upon your current efforts, let’s chat about how we can do these same thing for your business.
