Elmwood Tends to Its Roots

The 2008 Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts is a wonderful street festival celebrating one of the best neighborhoods in the area, its many awesome people, and some really wonderful art and food.  The theme of this year’s KidsFest was The Garden.  What a great symbol of growth and beauty.  Saturday’s gorgeous weather made it a day of perfection, and while yesterday’s rain and thunderstorm wasn’t all that awful it even made the day more fun.  At least the KidsFest parade kicked off without a hitch. Here are some photos from the weekend, including a few from a stop at our Joan’s yard sale.  The girl has some crazy shistuff.
