Griffis Studio for Youth & The Boys and Girls Club

Molding metal is very difficult talent to achieve, but for children who participate at the Griffis Studio for Youth from the Boys and Girls Club of America, it seems to be second hand nature to them. On Saturday, June 21 at the Buffalo Museum of Science an exhibit will be up showcasing some of the students’ work, as well as a Bronze Pour demonstration by studio owner Simon Griffis.

Look out for sculptures anywhere between 1 to 6 feet and metal works of art that have been welded, hammered, sautered and more.  These sculptures are more then just works of art, it is encouragement for kids who may have never considered that they have these types of talents.
