Issue 9 Hits The Streets!

Today is the big day!  Issue 9 of Block Club Magazine—the Design Issue—will hit Western New York streets today.  It’s all about design, from graphic and illustration design to advertising and product and packaging design.  It’s all in there (well, a lot of it), and it’s all explored on the backdrop of WNY.  Take a peek at city streets and the intricate nature of their planned design.  Spy into people’s homes and offices, and see where they work, how they work, and what goes into making our daily work possible and efficient.  We also talk to six local designers from various design fields about their lines of work, why they design, and what they say when someone asks, “are you a designer or an artist?” It’s a fun issue with awesome photography and some interesting information about our designed world.

On another subject, don’t forget that today is Primary Day!  So get out there and vote!
