Support Local, It Makes A Difference

Lately, I’m doing just about everything I can to avoid big box stores
and support local.
Some may argue that you save a lot of money by buying at national
chains, but doing so funnels money out of our local economy.

For me, it was a recent trip to the Walden Galleria that reaffirmed my
desire to support local stores over national chains.  While the mall
has an undeniable appeal for some, I suggest a walk down any main
strip in WNY. You’ll stumble upon all kinds of local stores that carry
just about everything. 
If you’re looking for clothes, there’s more variety at independent stores;
it’s less likely that you’ll see somebody wearing the same thing as you. 
If it’s a delicious meal that you’re seeking, why would you go to a chain
that likely pulls your dish out of a freezer and microwaves it rather than
eating something that’s prepared per order at a local restaurant?
