To Market We Go
We’ve written about farmers’ markets a lot here at Block Club. As we think seasonally here, we like to give props to those events and activities that toast the beauty in our seasonal changes. In that vein, I’d like to give mention to the remaining days of our local farmers’ markets. We know of just a handful of them within 716, of those that are authentic farmers’ markets and not just fruit stands. Here are a few reminders to keep the autumn harvest going strong as colder weather approaches…
East Aurora Farmers’ Market
East Aurora Plaza
Grey Street
East Aurora, NY 14052
Through November
Wednesday & Saturday, 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
Downtown Country Market
Main Street between Court and Church Streets
Through First of November
Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Elmwood Village Farmers’ Market
Elmwood Ave and Bidwell Parkway
Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Through mid-November
Many other markets have closed for the season already, or are gearing up to close this weekend. For a complete list of local markets, check out this list.
