Look at what I found!

I got a Tweet from local graphic designer Dave Courtney, directing me to the Buffalo T-Shirt Web site about a Buffalo typography poster. I saw an image just like this for Chicago a few months ago on ffffound, and thought that it would be awesome to have a Buffalo version. To my delight, we now have one!

I love when designers manipulate the geometry of letters, numbers and symbols, creating new lines and shapes, and whole images, out of typography. It’s even cooler when it’s done on a map like this. I wouldn’t use this map to help anyone find the I-190, but it’s nice to know approximately where the Fruit Belt is.
