To travel back in time, there’s no need for a super-futuristic machine. If you want to experience yesteryear, all you need is a radio. The 1960’s are synonymous with drugs, political turmoil and of course the tunes. Papa and Mama Root are known for playing hits from the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll. Tonight at Whiskey Joe’s, Papa and Mama Root will bring “Songs From the ’60s Generation.” Dig out your bell bottoms, but that flower back in your hair and relive the glory days, because starting tonight at 7 p.m., you’re going to want to be wearing them. Whiskey Joe’s, 4723 Transit Rd., Depew, 668.2210.
