Put a new spin on your annual 4th of July BBQ. If the weather hasn’t let up by the time your party starts, keep things indoors (until the fireworks) and have yourself a patriotic film festival. Grab your favorite red, white and blue candy toppings to throw into the popcorn and have yourself a party. Rent Revolutionary War movies like Mel Gibson’s “The Patriot,” “1776″ or “The Crossing” or other patriotic favorites like “Saving Private Ryan,” “Air Force One,” “Independence Day” or “Dazed and Confused.” Celebrate our country with those movie starts––oh, and your family and friends––closest to you.
